About Us
This website was developed as part of the Promotion of “Improving Pedestrian Safety on Urban Arterials” Report Goals project, sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The project aims to translate successful international approaches into actionable practices in the U.S., addressing barriers, exploring opportunities, and fostering institutional change to improve safety and mobility on urban arterials. This effort includes and supports collaboration among transportation professionals across a wide range of disciplines and expertise.
